How often do you ask your customers to leave a review? Despite it being an extremely effective way of getting more customer feedback, a lot of businesses are reluctant to ask out of fear of seeming too pushy.
There are a lot of ways to get more reviews from your customers, but email has proven to be one of the most effective. Being timely in asking for a review is extremely important and emails are one of the fastest communication methods you can utilize.
For instance, you can implement a process where you can email your customers after they make a purchase to ask for a review. Of course, this depends on the nature of your business. But it works because the purchase is still fresh in the customer’s mind, so they are more likely to review you.
Simply send them an email thanking them for doing business with you along with a link to the site you want them to leave a review on. If you’re monitoring this closely and notice that no action has been taken, feel free to send them a follow-up email within a week or two. It could be that the customer forgot to leave a review so a reminder email would spur them on to do it there and then.
If you want to reach multiple customers to ask for a review, hopefully you have an email list of subscribers. If so, you are definitely on the right track because email marketing is powerful for increasing profits.
